Using Co spaces, a vr coding software, I created a tree house. In the tree house world there is also a story that you follow. I did this because the trees in vr intrigued me but doing just a tree house didn't allow me to code as much as I would have liked .

During this process I learned a lot. I learned a lot about coding. Specifically how to break out of a loop so that the door will open and close over and over again .

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen. It ties to this because mu vr world Is on a public website an does not break any copyright laws.

A challenge I overcame on this project was that I didn't now how to code the door how I wanted to. I was able to do it by watching a video on how it is done. I also had to mess around with the code in the video a little cause I was using a different type of door.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the tree that I used. The reason why I would change it is because the thickness of the trunk of the tree house made a little smaller than I would have liked. The thickness of the trunk also make it hard to animate the dog getting the ball.

My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Content producer, Software engineer.
