The first thing that I had my agent build was a floating, bottomless tower with a glass pool on the top. That building is in the image to the left. The next thing that my agent built was a zombie jail using the same code. That image will be placed on the right. The code used to create these two buildings will be at the bottom of the page. I had decided to put in the jail to try to keep my tower safe of unwanted entities.
In my Minecraft world I learned how to code using my agent to build and create different objects, and structures. Our assignment was just that as well, we needed to figure out a suitable code and have our agents build our structures. It was very difficult to figure out the code itself to to build both of my structures however, once I did find the correct code my agent had a very easy time creating them. I could use my knowledge in coding for a future career on the show Battle Bots where you have to code, and control your robot. If I were to do this project again I would chose to try more complex, and articulate designed buildings to challenge my coding skills.
Here are 25 things that I can do with Minecraft:
Throughout my journey in coding with a Minecraft agent I have noticed that I was a very empowered learner by continuing to try new codes, and creating more and more with my newly understood skills. I was a good digital citizen by keeping my identity, as well as others safe, and using appropriate sites for help. I was a knowledge constructor since I put a lot of time into making sure that my code was accurate. I was an innovative designer since I tried for the best code until I found one that worked for me. I achieved being a computational thinker since I found new solutions, and ideas to meet my needs. By discussing my goals and explain my structures to others I was a creative communicator. I was a global collaborator because I asked others for help, and asked their opinions to improve my designs.
