Mathematics is a core subject for all students in Years 7 – 9. Students study a course based on the Victorian Curriculum, and learn a wide range of mathematical concepts relating to number, algebra, measurement, geometry, probability, and statistics.
In Year 9, there are two electives offered to students:
An enrichment elective called Mathematical Modelling is offered to students who wish to extend their mathematical skills to areas outsite of the standard high school curriculum.
A support elective called Numeracy Support is offered to students who wish to enhance their numeracy and mathematical skills, enabling them to confidently engage with the core Year 9 mathematics curriculum.
