Pathways

Overview

In Year 7 and Year 8 all students study the core Mathematics subject. There are no electives available.

Year 9

In Year 9 all students study the core Mathematics subject, and an optional enrichment elective is offered to students. The enrichment elective Mathematical Modelling is aimed at students who are capable and interested in mathematics. 

Year 10

All students will study one of two choices of Year 10 Mathematics subjects. The two options are Year 10 General Mathematics or Year 10 Mathematical Methods. Some students have the opportunity to study VCE Units 1 & 2 Mathematical Methods in addition to the Year 10 Mathematical Methods subject. 

Year 11 and Year 12

In Year 11 and Year 12 all of the VCE Mathematics studies are offered to students. Also, VCE Algorithmics is offered to students as a Year 11 or Year 12 option on a biennial basis.
