It covers the topics of linear equations and graphs, statistics, financial mathematics, geometry, trigonometry, matrices and networks.
This subject prepares students to study Units 3&4 General Mathematics.
All students studying any Year 10 Mathematics subject may enroll in Units 1&2 General Mathematics.
If a student is studying the Year 10 General Mathematics subject and is struggling to achieve at least Satisfactory grades, then it is recommended to discuss the Units 1&2 Foundation Mathematics option with the Careers and Pathways Manager.
