Mathematics is a core subject for all students in Years 7 – 9. Students study a course based on the Victorian Curriculum, and learn a wide range of mathematical concepts relating to number, algebra, measurement, geometry, probability, and statistics.
Teaching and learning activities are differentiated to support and challenge all students, ensuring they can access the curriculum and continue to grow according to their individual learning needs.
In Year 9, there is an enrichment elective called Mathematical Modelling offered to students who wish to extend their mathematical skills to areas outside of the standard high school curriculum.
