The Units 3&4 Mathematical Methods course develops students' ability to define and explain key mathematical concepts and to apply mathematical skills and techniques. It builds on the concepts studied in Units 1&2 Mathematical Methods. Students use CAS technology and develop skills in using technology to produce results and carry out mathematical analysis. The studied topics are functions and graphs, algebra, calculus, probability and statistics.
This subject allows students to satisfy tertiary entry requirements that require "Mathematical Methods".
