Bete Yilma

​Biography

My name is Bete Yilma. I am currently a Spanish Immersion reading initiative teacher and I teach Spanish to English academy students. I have been teaching for 20+ years. As an educator dedicated to fostering linguistic and pedagogical excellence, I find fulfillment in the vibrant world of elementary education. I have a passion for language and a commitment to nurturing young minds. 

My journey as a teacher has been a dynamic one, enriched by the joy of imparting Spanish language skills to elementary school students. Through innovative teaching methodologies and interactive activities, I aim to ignite a lifelong love for language learning in my students.

Beyond the confines of the classroom, I embrace the role of a mentor and coach, guiding fellow educators. Whether through collaborative lesson planning, targeted professional development sessions, or one-on-one support, I am committed to empowering teachers to implement best practices and elevate the educational experience for every student.
