Biography

My name is Carmen Maldonado and I hail from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I am currently a Prince George's County Public School World Languages - Spanish teacher, with nearly three decades of teaching experience under my belt. I spent 22 years teaching in Puerto Rico before making the move to PG County, where I have been for the past 7 years.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Education and Spanish teaching, a Master's degree in Business Education and Leadership, and I have doctoral studies in technology in the classroom. Teaching is not just a job for me, but a passion that I have dedicated my life to. I am committed to helping my students succeed and thrive in their language learning journey.
