The Orange Sulphur caterpillars primary host plant is alfalfa (fun fact: orange sulphurs were once called alfalfa butterflies), but they will also use clovers and members of the vetch family as their hosts

This butterflies chrysalis is mostly green, beside for the white stripe running down either side, and its shape resembles the chrysalis shape of the black swallowtail
