Volunteers Needed

If you have a few hours to spare occasionally at lunchtime, then you are just who the PTA is looking for. Volunteers are needed to help with Hot Lunch. You can volunteer a little or a lot, whatever works for your schedule. This is a great way to give back to the school and support the PTA. Just log into the form here and sign up for the days that work for you. The students, staff, and PTA appreciate any time you can offer.

Community Resources

Seniors grant program for community-based projects

The seniors grant program for community-based projects supports programs and events that are designed by seniors for seniors! This program funds projects that empower seniors to connect, engage and contribute to their communities, thereby improving their health and well-being. For the purpose of this grant a “senior” will refer to any person of, or over the age of 55.

Eligible organizations or groups can apply for grant funding* for projects that are led by, or for seniors and are volunteer-based. Consideration will be given to those groups that are not solely senior led, with the condition that the planning process collects seniors’ feedback from the community. Programs and services must be provided to seniors within Leduc County.

Applications will be accepted from Jan. 2 to Jan. 31, 2023.
