CES Scholastic Book Fair is BACK!!!

The Book Fair is BACK!!!!

We will be hosting an in school Scholastic Book Fair Oct 18th - Oct 22nd.

We are excited to welcome the students to the book fair throughout the week to view and shop with their classroom cohort, during their scheduled library classes.

Unfortunately, we are not open to the public at this time.

Families can view and shop online through the virtual site of the book fair which will open on the start date of Oct. 18th. Any purchases made online will be delivered to the school and the purchases will be sent home with students, or arrangements can be made to pick up the order at the school also.

We thank you for your support of this great school fundraiser!!! Profits from the book fair go towards new books and resources for our library and classrooms.

Family Fun Night

Did you enjoy the Cooking Up A Story that the Mental Health Capacity Team co-hosted with the school? Would you like to participate in another fun family night? Join us as we get into the Halloween Spirit by carving pumpkins as a family. All of the details are on the form that is included here. Fill out the form soon so that you don't miss out. Space is limited!

Halloween

Students are asked to come to school in their costumes on Friday, October 29. T/TH Kindergarten children will dress up on Thursday, October 28. If your child's costume includes any type of weapon, please leave that at home. No weapons, even fake or pretend, are allowed.

Due to COVID and our regulations around social distancing, our Halloween parade will be somewhat different again this year. Each class will parade around the foyer on their own and other classes will be able to watch from their classroom using a google meet. We will also video the parade so that we can share it in the CES news. Sharing the video will only happen if ALL families have filled out the verification form. This form needs to be completed so that we are not going against the FOIP act.

Classes will be celebrating Halloween in their classes as best they can. More information will come from your child's teacher.
