Have you ever thought of a book or a cartoon that has not become live-action yet, and you are desperate for certain actors to be in the live-action version? That's what this column is for!

FanCast: Lore Olympus

 Antagonists And Their Colors

Skylar

Listen, you cannot tell me that Skylar does not look exactly like Apollo in Rachel Smyth's book. The hair, the shape of the face, the eyebrows. No one really cares about eyebrows these days, but the eyebrows and the nose! After watching Pitch Perfect, I literally kept on saying, with that smile, Austin is so Apollo. Skylar also plays the stalker kind of guy really well. I'm just mostly excited to see Zeus drag him through the mud because that is my only favorite thing about Zeus: he dislikes Apollo. Super relatable-- look at that dumb smile. Hey, Zeus, I am asking for a strong friend: can I have a bolt?

Vassar says purple represents strength and power. Sure, Apollo is powerful because he is Zeus's son, but his strength means nothing because, if you live with the main Greek gods, then father issues are expected. Random fact: Apollo never mentions Kronos. We love a dad that never tells his son diddly-squat. Hercules could never disappoint. Hercules knows more.

Jensen

Kronos as Jensen Ackles. Page  216- 218Photo Credit: Greek Tyrant

This fancast choice was pretty obvious. I mean, I would have thought that Dean and Jensen were the same person. Have you not seen demon Dean Winchester? You're welcome, fangirls. *Acts like I'm not noticed.* Aw, you caught me. Who am I kidding? I look like a tree compared to him. I know I say this to a lot of people, but still.

Textiel Museum says the colors white and black are the absence of light. In many cultures, these two non-colors are associated with life and death rituals. For essential questions about identity, the opposites black and white are often chosen. Demon Dean Winchester and Kronos have similar colors that describe them. Lore Olympus confirmed that nightmares awaken Kronos and, if you take forever to wake up, Kronos will rise up from Tartarus (the prison down below) and will eat you. No more jokes. You actually will die and never exist again. Kronos just eats and leaves no blood. He does not need crumbs. Eating his own children is some Greek cannibalism no one even asked for, but here we are for some reason. If you did not know, now you know.

Rihanna

Minth as Rihanna. Page 20-400Photo Credit: League Of Comic-Geeks

Minthe the nymph comes off as a hot-headed, possessive ex-girlfriend. I'm not saying that Rihanna fits this image: I'm just basing her appropriateness for the role on similar facial features. Her music in 2015 is so Minthe-coded, and so is her style. Great era for Rihanna, not so great for the nymph, as seen by her picture. Minthe is whiny while trying to get back with Hades, along with her own friends. I thought she was the only nymph that was messed up? I'm just weirded out how Hades is not losing his mind. Never mind. I spoke too soon. He is losing it. I love how everyone is scared for no reason.

Since Minthe was born in some fancy forest not even close to Olympia, her color does not even matter. MSU Extinction has said that nymphs become red as young adults, yet Minthe throws a tantrum even when she gets turned into a plant. Nature took that physically. Hera and Gaia were just looking down at their actions, thinking: not too bad. It could be worse-- a female Kronos.

Margaret

Leto as Margaret Zhang Seen on page 98-147 Tumblr

Leto's character has bipolar elements. Her cannon makes sense. She will stick up to her nephew, Apollo, march up to the underworld, and forget. Then, all of a sudden, she wants to be besties with Persephone, when she technically has nothing to do with them, and has no idea that her nephew is a sexual criminal. Zeus just has an uninteresting taste in goddesses that want to be involved in flings. Leto is the worst one, and you think Hades has not been to parties? As can be seen, this side of the family is cursed.

The word "fade" kind of explains itself, but I will describe it anyway. Urban Dictionary says Fade Gods are those who are not noticed much. As Margaret is a Fade God, people may be confused about why she is not a side character. Apollo scares everyone away, and Minthe is just annoying as a villain. Why not add someone who's confused to lighten things up?

jesse

Ares as Jesse Eisenberg Seen on page 82-100 Amino Apps

Ares just has a super punchable face. However, this does not mean anything about the actor. However, we are just going to ignore that you could barely see Jesse's eyebrows. He's just trendy, I think? Seriously, though, Ares is scary and creepy. Ares reminds me of several people I kick out of my sister's car that are very disruptive. I hate how he reminds me of that. Take this child back to what was Kid-Zone. I want him out.

Web Exhibits says that orange and yellow signify enthusiasm and wisdom. Ares may be enthusiastic, but he is not wise. His enthusiastic side mixes with his attempts to fight. However, regarding wisdom: you want wisdom from a Greek God that has no a-game whatsoever and flirts with goddesses that have been angry for decades? Not happening.

Chad

Zeus as Chad Michael Murray Page 2-196 Pinterest

Ah, yes-- a complete Chad that is actually more of a baby throwing tantrums played by a Chad, or should I say Chad-eater. Any Chad could honestly play Zeus, but we just felt we needed that one Gilmore Girls actor that has a constantly slipping ego. However, in his role as Zeus, he still makes it obvious that Zeus' ego stays. Zeus can be both likable and the angry Tim to your Boss Baby at the same time. In other words, he is so annoying that I want Hera to throw him into the fiery pits of Chads. At least, they all have something in common.

I get emotional whenever I see Zeus use his powers because he's lowkey so protective over his sister-in-law. He never crosses the line on another affair, which makes me happy because he loves his brother, and he's proud of him. Am I truly happy, though? Zeus was supposed to be dead at one point. I'm confused. I was rooting for him a little bit, and then I found myself thinking: you are alive? Oh, okay. So you just faked everything or what? There's still rain. That is unacceptable.

Side Characters And Their Colors

Eris

Havan Flores as Eris Page 1-2 Alamy

Eris is extremely dyspraxic. When I first read her introduction, I could barely read her name in the bio. All I could read was Eros. I'm questioning why there is a German bird. When did German birds exist in the same place as Gods? You would even say to the author of this book that unicorns existed at the same time as dinosaurs and it would happen. It is so out of context that there is literally a bird-human in a Greek God story about romance and drama. Now I can't un-see Greek Gods with pets. It is weirdly interesting and awkward.

Echo

Sophia Lillis as Echo Page 102-124 Rotten Tomatoes

Echo the nymph is Hera's assistant. Echo is loyal, trusting, and respectful and is an overall chill side character. She is not annoying like Minthe. She does not know what the hype is all about, but she's done with Minthe and her friends. Echo is iconic.

Sandford says that blue nymphs are filled with despair and hope. This is the opposite of Sophia Lillis' usual roles, but it provides hope. That's a great feeling. I need it.

thetis

Thetis as Kira KosarinPage 103-183
Tv Tropes

Thetis is all over the place. She thinks that she is very persuasive but, from a reader's point of view, I see why alcoholism is a go-to addiction in Minthe's little group. At one point, Thetis resorts to breaking and entering Hades' house. The fact that Hades gets all the goddesses without his own permission makes me feel bad but is also laughable because its so different.

Color Psychology states that grey and blue is, indeed, all over the place. You may think its professional, but its insanely, messy and chaotic. Just like the pros and cons of being neighbors with hades, other houses don't exist. If you even think they do, the only excuse is the pound as if you think Cerberus has friends. This is not a D.C and Marvel story, not all fictional pets get a long, especially ones that never seen a female owner in their life. I know, I went to dog show, and got dragged by a dog.

Tell me in my email if you want to see more characters or something else! Im very proud of what I have so far. I just have a busy week to not continue finishing this Fancast. I'll see you guys next time, when i'm not busy with other classes. Have a good day/afternoon/evening/night.
