In this article, Taeya Hennings will be talking about the non-profit organization Relentless Heroes.
Relentless Heroes is a nonprofit organization based in southern Oregon that helps homeless veterans and veteran families in need. Relentless Heroes helps these vets by raising money from their golf tournaments, and other golf games they provide and donating the money to the local vet centers.
Relentless Heroes holds their 10th annual golf tournament on Sept. 23, 2023. They have helped local vets who have fallen on such hard times during these past years. The money they make comes from their golf tournaments and, within the golf tournaments, they have games, and raffle tickets to make donations. According to Relentless Heroes, they do their golf tournaments during the fall in southern Oregon. They raise their money by making games, golf tournaments and competitions. All the money Relentless Heroes makes stays within the local area. This non-profit organization has many helpers to assist with the golf tournament, fundraisers, and donation collections.
Relentless Heroes’ president/founder Eric Hennings says that this non-profit is important because he is able to help someone in need when all other options have been lost. He also stated that, when he decided to make Relentless Heroes, he realized that he had an opportunity to help his community and show his kids to serve others.
People can help support Relentless Heroes by playing in the tournament, and donating materials, prize services, and volunteering for help. To register as a sponsor, the person must be at least 18 years old. As stated on the Relentless Heroes official website, sponsor levels range from 300 for a single player to 3,000 dollars for four player entries, with other entry levels in between. The next tournament will be held on Sept. 23. 2023 at the Grants Pass Golf Club.
Relentless Heroes is an extraordinary non-profit organization that helps our local veterans and their families who have fallen on hard times, and the group creates many fun experiences to raise money and donate it to the local vet center in Grants Pass, Oregon.
