What Can I find in the "History" section of the scroll?

What are historical articles?

Historical articles are meant to educate people on past events and experiences. On any given history topic, these articles give the facts and set the scene. Starting with the who, what, when, where, why and how, the ways these events still affect us to this day are put into perspective. Articles such as these are research-based with primary and secondary sources.

Why are these important? What's the significance of them to Journalism?

These articles are fact based and formally unbiased with the intent of teaching a lesson and stopping poor ending situations from repeating at a later date. There is so much to learn from our past stories and this is a place for you to get the information you need. With historical articles, the facts are presented openly because readers deserve to have a broad view of events and a chance to form opinions and stances on these events on their own.

What are some real life examples of historical articles?

As a popular option for schools, History.com/news presents thorough pieces of writing with pictures for reference broad reports of events and its' effects without too much skew.  Occasionally PBS and National Geographic do pieces that are history based as well.
