2024年3月17日至21日，工大华文班已开放给所有对学习华文充满兴趣的工大学生和职员报名参加2023/2024学年第二学期的华文班。为期5天的报名活动如常进行，成功吸引了90位学员的加入。各位学员们好，工大华文班欢迎你们，愿你们在学习旅程中发现中文的奥妙，互相交流并建立深厚的友谊。祝你们有个愉快的学习旅程。

From the 17th of March to the 21st of March 2024, UTM Mandarin Club opened the Mandarin Class Registration for session 2023/2024-2 to the UTM students and staff who are interested in learning Chinese to sign up. The five-day registration event proceeded as scheduled and successfully attracted 90 students. Hello, dear students! Welcome to the UTM Mandarin Class. We hope that in your learning journey, you will discover the wonders of the Chinese language, engage in mutual exchange, and form meaningful friendships. Wishing you all a delightful learning experience.

2024年3月28日，工大华文班小型培训营之《启航，新旅程！》圆满结束。这次的培训营不仅让各处处员明确了解各自的职责和任务，还促使了处长们与新旧处员们之间的了解与交流。感谢每一位参加培训营的处员们，是你们的热情与积极让整个活动充满了活力与正能量。同时，我们也要特别感谢各位理事以及各处处长们的耐心培训与指导，正是因为你们的付出让处员们受益良多。华文班，有美女，有惊喜，还有你，我们欢迎你！ 在此，工大华文班的所有理事欢迎各位处员的加入。在未来的日子里，让我们继续努力，共同创造更加美好的社团未来！再次感谢大家的支持和参与！

On March 28, 2024, UTM Mandarin Club held a Tutor, 'Set sail, a new journey,' successfully. This training camp not only provided a clear understanding of responsibilities and tasks for each department member but also fostered mutual understanding and communication between department chiefs and members. We extend our gratitude to every department member who participated in the training camp. It was your enthusiasm and positivity that filled the entire event with vitality. Moreover, we want to give special thanks to the board members and department chiefs for their patient training and guidance. Your dedication greatly benefited the department members. Hereby, all board members of the UTM Mandarin Club extend a warm welcome to the new department members. Let's continue to work hard in the days ahead, creating a better future for our club together! Once again, thank you all for your support and participation. 

新学期，新开始。工大华文班在迎来新一批学员后，我们于2024年4月1日为学员们举办了象征学海旅程拉开序幕的开幕典礼。典礼主题为 《文化启航，智慧飞扬》，寓意着文化引导我们向新旅程启航，智慧带领我们实现新的进步和飞跃 。望学员们能够坚持不懈的努力，不断学习，从而取得辉煌的成就。于此同时，我们衷心感谢 Encik Hakim Bin Isa 和 Prof. Madya Dr Yeak Su Hoe夫妇抽空出席，为我们华文班剪彩，为典礼增添了崭新的色彩。同时，我们也要感谢南方之音的表演者们与张芷欣同学为我们的典礼带来了精彩纷呈的演出。典礼的成功离不开大家共同的努力。在此，我们要特别感谢各位理事和处员们的帮助的辛勤付出。当然，我们也感激各位莅临典礼现场，希望在未来能够继续得到大家的支持。

A new semester marks a new beginning. With the arrival of a new batch of students, UTM Mandarin Club held an opening ceremony on April 1, 2024, symbolizing the start of their academic journey. The theme of the ceremony, "Cultural Odyssey, Wisdom Soars," signifies that culture guides us as we embark on a new journey, and wisdom leads us to new progress and leaps forward. We hope the students will persevere, continuously learn, and achieve brilliant success. At the same time, we sincerely thank Encik Hakim Bin Isa and Prof. Madya Dr. Yeak Su Hoe for taking the time to attend and officiate the ribbon-cutting ceremony, adding a new dimension to our event. We also extend our gratitude to the performers from Southern Voice Philharmonia UTM (SVP) and student Chong Zhi Xin for their wonderful performances, which greatly enhanced our ceremony. The success of the ceremony was the result of everyone's collective efforts. Here, we would like to especially thank all the board members and department staff for their hard work and dedication. Of course, we are also grateful to everyone who attended the ceremony, and we hope to continue receiving your support in the future.

工大华文班多媒体处于2024年4月14日举办了线上AI & ANIMAKER工作坊。本次工作坊面向理事和各部门成员开放报名。在此次线上工作坊中，我们学习了如何利用AI制作精美海报，以及使用ANIMAKER剪辑影片的技巧！感谢大家抽出时间参与，希望这些新技能能为大家带来更多灵感，创作出更加出色的电子海报和影片！

On April 14, 2024, the Multimedia Department of UTM Mandarin Club hosted an online AI & ANIMAKER workshop. This workshop was open for registration to board members and members from all departments. During this online workshop, we learned how to utilize AI to create stunning posters and use ANIMAKER for video editing! Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate. We hope these new skills bring you inspiration and help you create even more outstanding digital posters and videos! 

2024年5月23日（星期四），工大华文班成功举办了一次以《思聚》为主题的学员活动。这个主题以清明为概念。清明，是一个缅怀古人的日子，也有展望未来之意。随着时代的发展，清明也变成了和家人相聚的日子，我们借此告诫大家珍惜家人。

这个活动不仅是对中华文化的探索与弘扬，更是一次激发和连接的旅程。我们的目标是为华文班学员提供更深入的中华文化见解，同时加强来自不同班级的学员与教员门之间的联系。活动背后的意义超越了简单的聚会，它是我们与文化、与情感之间的交汇，是我们共同成长的一部分。

在这次活动中，华文班学员们欢聚一堂，畅享着充满欢乐的时光。当然活动的成功离不开每位筹委的精心策划以及学员们的踊跃参与。我们衷心感谢每一位参与其中的人，是你们的热情与付出让这次活动得以如此顺利开展！

On May 23, 2024, UTM Mandarin Club organized a cultural activity with the theme of “Memories and Make Moments” successfully. The concept of the theme is the Qingming festival. It is a festival to show our appreciation to our ancestors but also carries connotations of looking towards the future. Simultaneously, the festival is also an opportunity for gathering with the family members, make some new moments. Through this event, we remind everyone to cherish their loved ones. 

This event was not just to provide a platform for KBM students to get to know about Chinese culture, but also strengthen the bonds between students and tutors. 

At this event, KBM students gathered together and had a wonderful time full of joy. The success of the event was because of the careful planning by each committee member and the enthusiastic participation of the students. We sincerely thank everyone who took part in making this event run smoothly. Your passion and efforts made it all happen!

2024年6月1日（星期六），我们迎来了以《谁是“凶手”？》为主题的四处联谊。在这个宁静的小镇上，发生了一起离奇的谋杀案，备受尊敬的商人被害于家中。然而，案件迟迟未能侦破，凶手尚未落网，小镇已经乱成一团，居民们每日都在担惊受怕中度过。此活动不仅是一场游戏，更是对智慧和团队合作的考验。镇上的局长能否在侦探们的协助下找到真凶，恢复小镇的安宁？这一切都取决于我们的推理能力和团结合作。 

活动已圆满结束。衷心感谢每一位筹委的精心策划和各处处员们的积极参与。这不仅是我们的共同努力，更是我们友谊的见证。期待未来更多精彩活动的到来！ 

On June 1, 2024 (Saturday),  a bonding camp themed "Who's the Killer?" was held. In this quiet town, a bizarre murder occurred; a respected businessman was killed at home. However, the case has yet to be solved, and the murderer remains at large, causing chaos in the town as residents live in daily fear. This event was not just a game but also a test of wisdom and teamwork. Can the town’s chief, with the help of detectives, find the murderer and restore peace to the town? All of this depends on our reasoning skills and collaboration.

The event has successfully concluded. We sincerely thank every committee member for their careful planning and all department members for their active participation. This was not only a collective effort but also a testament to our friendship. We look forward to more exciting events in the future!

2024年6月20日（星期四），华文班为学员们举办了闭幕典礼。这意味着学员们完成了一段学习中文之旅。典礼主题为 《文化启航，智慧飞扬》，寓意着文化引导我们向新旅程启航，智慧带领我们实现新的进步和飞跃 。希望学员们在这学期收获满满，学习到了新知识。在此也感谢所有教员们的用心教学。于此同时，我们衷心感谢 Prof. Madya Dr Yeak Su Hoe夫妇抽空出席，为典礼增添了崭新的色彩。同时，我们也要感谢南方之音，轻舞飞扬和工大扯铃社的表演者们，还有陈可贤同学与张芷欣同学为我们的典礼带来了精彩纷呈的演出。我们要特别感谢各位理事和处员们的帮助的辛勤付出，让闭幕典礼圆满落幕。当然，我们也感激各位莅临典礼现场，希望在未来能够继续得到大家的支持。我们下学期见。

On Thursday, June 20, 2024, the UTM Mandarin Club held a closing ceremony for the students. This marks the completion of their journey in learning Chinese. The theme of the ceremony was "Cultural Journey, Wisdom Soaring," symbolizing that culture guides us as we embark on new journeys, and wisdom leads us to new progress and achievements. We hope that the students have gained a lot this semester and have learned new knowledge. We would also like to thank all the instructors for their dedicated teaching. At the same time, we sincerely thank Encik Fauzi and Associate Professor Dr. Yeak Su Hoe and his wife for taking the time to attend, adding a fresh touch to the ceremony. We would also like to thank the performers from Southern Voice Philharmonia UTM, Flying Dance Studio, and the UTM Diabolo Club, as well as Chen Ke Xian and Zhang Zhi Xin, for bringing us a spectacular performance. We especially want to thank all the committee members and staff for their hard work in making the closing ceremony a success. Of course, we are also grateful to everyone who attended the ceremony, and we hope to continue receiving your support in the future. See you next semester.

2024年6月23日（星期日），为了感谢理事们和处员们的辛勤付出，华文班举办了慰劳宴。气氛融洽，欢声笑语不断。宴会最后，大家一起合影留念，留下了这段美好的回忆。希望在下学期能够继续携手，共同迎接新的挑战和机遇。

On Sunday, June 23, 2024, the UTM Mandarin Club held an appreciation banquet to thank the board members and staff for their hard work. The atmosphere was warm and filled with laughter. At the end of the banquet, everyone took a group photo to capture this beautiful memory. We hope to continue working together in the next semester, embracing new challenges and opportunities.
