Week 5

Today we began our initial trial process. We heated up our agar whilst preparing the hot sauces. During this process, we discovered some nasty, gooey mold in the hot sauce mixtures. We spent the remaining time in class preparing a plan and new hot sauce mixtures for later use.

Today we realized that our preportioned agar was growing mold. Most of the our agar was unusabe because of this. However we still needed to get some results for today. We remade our hot sauce dilutions, and then melted the agar. We mixed both and then put the new combinations into the fridge to chill.
