We retrieved our cooled product from the fridge and began to streak the E. coli onto the agar mix. Following this procedure, which was done by streaking the dishes in thirds and then sterylizing the utensil. We concluded the day by putting each of the five dishes made into the incubator.Â

Today was very simple; we worked on fixing our spreadsheet. More specifiacally we improved the color coding of some of the data entry spots. We also improved the effeciency of some of the calculations in the spreadsheet, aswell as improving clarity with some of our word choises. Lastly we recorded this day and the previous in our blog.

Today we emailed Dr. Robinson regarding the lack of bacteria growth for any level of hot sauce. This potential error will be discussed when he gets back to us. We have to determine what ratio of agar:hot sauce is appropriate to get some amount of growth.
