Week 14

Today we began the process of making another batch. We cleaned all of the beakers with soap and water. After this, we boiled water in each of them in order to sterilize.

Today was another sterilization day. Earlier in the day we learned that all of our B. coagulans data was inaccurate due to us not growing the bacteria in nutrient broth. After learning this we made the appropriate broth and bacteria and incubated it over break.

Today we participated in another student's trials. For these trials, we went to the gym where we were fed pre-workout and then tested on how many reps of a barbell we could get.
