Week 11

Today was a relatively uneventful day. Today's entire hour was spent re-steralizing our beakers. We have also started to fall into a weekly schedule with data collection on Wednesday and Friday.

Today was an eventful day. We made our different dilutions using the Tabasco hot sauce. We then streaked the premade agar plates with B. coagulans. After the streaking, we put the dilution-soaked discs and the control discs onto the plate and then inserted them into the incubator.

Today we analyzed our plates from yesterday. After thoroughly measuring each of the plates we deduced that they all had a ZOI of 0. We then entered those numbers in the spreadsheet and sterilized the beakers for tomorrow.

Today we made another batch of plates, using the same disc-dilution method as before. However, this time we used Staphylococcus epidermidis as our bacteria. we then put all of the plates into the incubator and will collect the data tomorrow.

Today was a half day so we didn't have time to do much, however, we did manage to analyze and record the plates from yesterday. Once again all plates had a ZOI of 0.
