Stock Market Math 2017 2018

In our class we will be looking at some concepts of mathematics, science, social studies and health by creating a hypothetical stock market and 4 main stocks for trading. It will be a fun, interactive way to learn some key concepts from the curriculum.

The stocks will be:

1. Anvil (Construction/Development Business)
2. Blox (Toy Store Companies)
3. Carbonar (Restaurant Chains)
4. Salutem (Medical Supplies)

• Each student will have a choice of which stock they want to invest in.
• Each week news will come out about the stock.
• Each week a random increase or decrease in percentage of the stock's worth will occur based on the news.
• There will be some additional key details that we will discuss the first week of school.
