In our class we will be looking at some concepts of mathematics, science, social studies and health by creating a hypothetical stock market and 4 main stocks for trading. It will be a fun, interactive way to learn some key concepts from the curriculum.
The stocks will be:
Anvil (Construction/Development Business)
Blox (Toy Store Companies)
Carbonar (Restaurant Chains)
Salutem (Medical Supplies)
Each student will have a choice of which stock they want to invest in.
Each week news will come out about the stock.
Each week a random increase or decrease in percentage of the stock's worth will occur based on the news.
There will be some additional key details that we will discuss the first week of school.
