Personalize Portfolio
Here are some initial steps to personalize your Teacher Education Portfolio:
Open your Chrome browser.
Log in to Google Drive using your @go.olemiss.edu email address.
Open up your Teacher Education Portfolio.
Change the Header on the Home page to your name.
Locate the footer on the bottom of the webpage
Insert contact information you would want viewers of your portfolio to have.
You have just personalized your Teacher Education Portfolio...somewhat. Throughout the site are other prompts, usually between two * symbols, to give you ideas for how to personalize the site with your words, pictures, and information (e.g. Home Page). Remember this Teacher Education Portfolio is yours and the design and look of it is yours to change freely. The template has been created to offload the design and technological issues that some people may have in building a website that is functional and pleasing to look at. If you want to change something feel free to do so as long as the basic structure of the site stays the same.
Just don't change things to change things. Have a reason.
You don't want to make changes that make the site less about your development and more about flashy colors. So if you don't have a reason to change something...leave it alone! In the end we want the content (your development as a teacher) to shine!
