Describe the Context of your Moment of Professional Growth
A main consideration in describing the context for your moment of professional growth is to avoid jargon that only an insider to the program or profession can understand. The context for your identified moment of professional growth should be described in a way that someone unfamiliar with your program can understand. Consider describing the context to a family member who is not an educator when and where this moment of professional growth occurred.
Portfolio Site Task
To author into your artifact page the context for your identified moment of professional growth, execute the following steps:
Open your Chrome Web Browser.
Log in to Google Drive using your @go.olemiss.edu email address.
Open your Education Portfolio
Locate the the empty artifact page you identified in the previous task.
Under the "Context" heading, describe when and where your identified moment of professional growth occurred.
Avoid using jargon that someone unfamiliar with your program would not understand. e.g. "In my EDEL 403 class..." versus "In the class where I learned how to teach mathematics..."
You have described the context from which your identified moment of professional growth emerged and captured that context in your portfolio..
