Carnival of the Animals

For spirit week every class had a door decorating challenge. I created a Carnival of the Animals themed door for my classroom to coincide with the grade 1 Carnival of the Animals unit.

Rhythm Cards

Students use these cards to dictate four beat rhythms they hear, or compose their own four beat rhythms.

Musical Term Cards

These cards can be displayed or distributed to students to allow them to explore various musical terms.

Staff Sheet

This staff is large enough that students can turn into notes by standing on it, or curling up into a ball on it. Students can also use this sheet to play Staff Twister.
