A: Hello! Everyone! Today we are talking about Covid 19. 全名是coronavirus disease 2019，簡稱為~Covid 19，指的就是新冠肺炎
B:沒錯，前陣子一直到現在，大家最緊張的事情就是有關 Covid 19的傳播，今天要來跟大家講講Peter 的故事~
A:Yeah! Peter! He was just hanging out with his friend and then he come in contact with somebody who has the virus.
B:是的!他因為和帶原者有了接觸，於是Peter就被感染了，他染上了這個病毒，但是他還不知道，而他染上了這個病毒，也變成了帶原者! Carrier of the virus
A:沒錯! virus 就是病毒! Carrier of the virus 指的就是帶原者!
B:Because Peter is not feeling well, he decide to go to the hospital.
A:So what do the doctors do at the hospital ?
B:They screen him. 採檢用的就是這個字! “screen”，s~c~r~e~e~n~，這個字我們常聽到的用法是螢幕，這裡指的就是採檢的意思“screen”
A: 那後來採檢的結果呢?
B: it turn out he is，他真的中獎了
A: Oh!Poor Peter!
B :So Peter is put in quarantine. put in quarantine的意思就是被隔離了! 隔離用的是這個字quarantine，如果真的被隔離，就一定要好好待在家，不可以偷偷跑出去，要做到~~好好照顧自己也保護別人喔。
A:所以現在最重要的事情，就是防疫，防疫有很多的方法，第一個就是勤洗手
B: Yes, that’s right. The most important one is washing your hands. Don’t forget to wash for at least 20 seconds.
A:要洗手至少20 秒，有沒有什麼方法，可以幫大家至少洗20秒呢?
B:Well! If you want to practice your English you can sing the Alphabet song-A~B~C~D~E~F~G~….to Z. 這樣唱完差不多20秒!
Or you can sing “Happy Birthday to you”“Happy Birthday to you” just sing this song two times. 唱完二次也差不多20秒囉!
A:All right! Good idea! 還有一個很重要的防疫措施那就是戴口罩! Put on the mask.
B: Yes, that’s right. Another way to keep yourself safe is to avoid large gatherings.
A:是的這點很重要!避免群聚
