Origin
Our school is located in Pingxing Village in Pingzhen District. As new buildings and new residents filled the school district, a new school became a necessity. In 1997, we were set up as a branch of Songwu Elementary School, and in 1999, we became a school in our own right, under the name of Ping Sing Elementary School. The name Ping Sing stands for peace and prosperity.
School Emblem
The main body of the emblem consists of a pair of trees, whose foliage forms the characters ping and xing. The red soil below (reading ‘school’) is the fertile ground from which our students grow and develop into a forest of capable and upright young women and men with cultural baggage, affinity with nature, and a global outlook that spread our knowledge and values far and wide.
