Q: Koji pottery? What’s that?
A: Koji pottery is a type of folk art made of potters’ clay. It has to be fired at a very high temperature. Koji pottery figurines are different because the core is air .It is made like this to keep it from falling when it is hung from a building or other places. Each accessory and outfit is attached by hand, piece by piece. The process is extremely time-consuming.
