Year 7

Year 7 embarked on a great learning experience in Bogor. The students had many fun and educational activities lined up, while showing resilience in being away from family for the week.

Day 1 had us get settled in, followed by the Ecolodges version of the Amazing Race. Day 2 we got to experience Sundanese culture, with traditional instruments being learnt, a traditional dance performance and traditional games. 

Day 3 our students showed how amazing they are, by completing their service as action projects at a local school. They taught fun and engaging English lessons, there were kids singing, laughing and having an amazing time with our students. The kids also spent time cleaning the school and starting to repaint the badminton court.

Day 4 we took a short 3km trek, with some amazing views of the local area. We also had an amazing round robin paintball tournament. The day finished with Year 7s got talent, with some unique and creative performances.

Day 5 we made our way home, thank you to all the parents, students and teachers for your support and engagement in making this trip so enjoyable.
