The Well-being Committee is excited to present our first Holiday Bazaar! From 10am until noon on Friday, December 16th, we will welcome our students and community members to enjoy festive music and shopping for homemade goods and crafts! During the morning of Monday 31st October, the whole school will come together to enjoy a dress up parade. Coinciding with ‘Book Week’ all students are encouraged to dress up (Book week or Halloween themed) for the school day. Our younger students will be paired with older students as they complete a circuit around the school. We hope that the cheers and applause throughout the parade will be an energy booster for the community and further support our efforts as we try to enhance wellbeing at GJS.

Extension opportunities for Global Jaya students
In order to ensure that our students are supported with possible extension opportunities, we have teamed up with ‘Learn with Leaders’ in order to provide a face to face 3 day workshop in Jan 2023. The workshop is open to all grade 8 - 12 students who are interested in further developing their leadership skills.

The Harvard Crimson Leadership Academy Hosted by Global Jaya School
An integral part of the Harvard experience is the seminar experience, which allows students to hone their thinking, writing, and communication skills in an intimate classroom setting. The Harvard Crimson Scholars Program replicates this transformative experience for high school students, empowering students to become stronger speakers and critical thinkers and kickstarting their journeys as trailblazing leaders in their communities.
By the end of the program, students will understand the fundamentals of rigorous argumentation, have found a new mentor in a Harvard student, and strengthened their candidacy in the college admissions process.
What will students gain?
Learn a systematic, comprehensive approach to solving real-world problems from trained and dedicated mentors from The Harvard Crimson’s Business Board
Forge life-long, value-rich networks with IVY league mentors, global thought pioneers, and peers around the world who share your passion for answers
Use data to quantify and validate your proposed solutions.
Practice your communication skills to convey your recommendations effectively
Brainstorm practical methods to implement your solutions
Certificates from The Harvard Crimson & Learn with Leaders
The winning team from the school will get the opportunity of continued mentorship even after the program
The conference being offline provides students a practical learning environment which enables them to closely interact with peers, mentors, and leaders and participate actively in live discussions and debates.
