FIELD TRIP TO BOTANICAL GARDEN

On Tuesday September 27, 2022, we were very excited to go to the Botanical Garden in Bogor. This is the first learning experience outside of the classroom since the covid pandemic. Our second unit of inquiry is Sharing the Planet. The central idea of this unit is Human activities can alter the relationships found within biomes.

Our lines of inquiry are:

• Characteristics of different biomes.

• The relationship between living and non-living things within biomes.

• How human activities impact biomes.

During our field trip, we had opportunities to practice our research skills by observing the different kinds of plants, especially the plants in the Tropical Rainforest biome. We also spent time finding plants from around the world. We practiced our listening skills by learning information from the Botanical Garden tour guide. The next day after our field trip we reflected on all that we had learned on our trip.

PERINGATAN HARI PERDAMAIAN INTERNATIONAL (RABU, 21 SEPTEMBER 2022)

Satu minggu sebelum Hari Perdamaian Internasional, kami diminta oleh Ibu Yani selaku koordinator Student Council supaya memilih kegiatan apa yang kami ingin lakukan bersama di kelas untuk memperingati hari tersebut. Kami memilih secara voting, dan pilihan terbanyak adalah membuat gambar tentang perdamaian.

Bertepatan di Hari Perdamaian International, sebagai kegiatan pembuka, kami melihat 3 video dari youtube tentang perdamaian. Setelah itu, kami memikirkan apa arti dari perdamaian menurut kami dan menuliskannya pada selembar kertas. Lalu secara kreatif kami menggambar sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan arti perdamaian di kertas tersebut. Kami mewarnai gambar kami membuatnya lebih menarik. Tak lupa kami menebalkan tulisan kami dengan pensil warna atau spidol agar tulisan kami lebih terbaca dengan jelas.

Kami sangat senang melakukan kegiatan ini. Damai di Hati, Damai di Bumi!
