As we begin a new school year, the GJS Library is ready to welcome students back and support them throughout another year of learning, discovery, and growth.
Whether you are joining Global Jaya School for the first time or returning for another year, the Library is more than a place to borrow books. It is a space where students can explore new ideas, develop their reading habits, conduct research, and find reliable resources to support their learning.
To help students make the most of what the Library has to offer, we invite everyone to explore the GJS Library Portal, where you can find information about Library services, research guides, online resources, research tools, and the Library Catalogue.
The Library Catalogue is also your gateway to our collection of print books and eBooks. More digital books are now available through the catalogue, making it easier for students to access reading materials both at school and beyond.
Explore Our Digital Resources
Learning does not stop when you leave the Library. Through our digital resources, students can access books, academic materials, newspapers, magazines, and educational content using their school Google account.
Books and eBooks
Looking for your next great read or a book to support an assignment? Our Library Catalogue provides access to both print books and an expanding collection of eBooks. Explore the collection through the Library Catalogue and discover books wherever you are.
PebbleGo
Designed for our younger learners in K–3, PebbleGo provides age-appropriate articles, activities, and learning resources across a range of topics. It is a great starting point for students developing their research and information literacy skills. Please contact the Librarian for the username and password.
PressReader
Stay connected with the world through thousands of newspapers and magazines from around the globe. PressReader can be accessed automatically while on campus. When accessing it from home, simply sign in using your school Google account.
BrainPOP
Explore a wide range of subjects through educational videos, interactive activities, quizzes, and other multimedia resources. BrainPOP is available for students across K–12 and is a great resource for extending classroom learning and exploring topics independently. Students can access BrainPOP using their school Google account.
JSTOR
For students in Year 10 and above, JSTOR provides access to academic journals, books, and primary sources. It is particularly useful for students conducting more in-depth research and developing their academic research skills. Students can log in using their school Google account.
WebPath Express
Finding reliable information online can sometimes be challenging. WebPath Express provides access to relevant, trusted, and curriculum-aligned websites, making it easier for students to find quality online resources. You can access WebPath Express through the Catalog tab in the Library Catalogue.
The Library also provides several digital tools designed to help students become more confident and responsible researchers.
Turnitin helps students check the originality of their work when submitting assignments through ManageBac, thereby developing good academic writing and citation practices.
Grammarly provides writing support and suggestions to help students improve their written communication. New students have been invited to activate their Grammarly accounts. If you cannot find the invitation, please check your spam or junk folder. Existing students who have not yet received access are welcome to contact the Library team.
For students working on research projects, NoodleTools can help organize research, create citations, and build bibliographies, making the process more manageable.
With so many resources available, we encourage students to take an active role in exploring what the GJS Library offers. Whether you need a book, reliable information for an assignment, help with research, or simply a quiet place to read and learn, the Library team is here to support you.
Visit the GJS Library Portal and Library Catalogue to discover the resources available to you, or drop by the Library and speak with our team.
