Season 2 in Full Swing: Hawks Show Growth and Determination Across All Teams

Season 2 is well underway, and our Hawks continue to display strong commitment, resilience, and teamwork as they represent Global Jaya School in multiple competitions.

Last week, our Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams traveled to SPH-LV for matches against the host school and Santa Laurensia, followed by another competitive outing on Tuesday, November 25th, at the British School Jakarta.
Although the teams did not secure a victory this time, both groups showcased clear progress, improved teamwork, and stronger tactical discipline, important steps forward in their development. Well done to all players for their determination and continuous improvement!

Looking ahead, Season 2 excitement continues this Saturday, as our U15 Boys and Girls Volleyball teams take the court at Global Jaya School, starting at 8:00 AM, in matches against ACG Jakarta and SPH-LV.
On the same day, our Varsity Basketball teams will travel to AIS to take on the home team and ACG Jakarta, promising another valuable set of match experiences.

We look forward to seeing our athletes continue to grow, compete, and proudly represent GJS in every game.

Last Call for Registration — Train with PB Jaya Raya at Global Jaya!

Dear Global Jaya Community,

This is a final reminder to register for our Off-Season Badminton Program, delivered in partnership with the prestigious PB Jaya Raya, one of Indonesia's most respected badminton clubs, founded in 1976 and known for developing world-class athletes such as Nitya Krishinda Maheswari (former World No. 2 in women's doubles).

From December 2nd to February 13th, with training sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, students will have the opportunity to learn from top-level coaches and elevate their badminton skills to the next level.

Please note that registration has been extended to December 8th.
After this date, no further registrations will be accepted.

Program Fee: IDR 2,000,000 per participant
Open to: Year 4, 5 & 6, U15, and Varsity students (boys and girls)

Secondary Athletics & Swimming Carnival – December 8

On Monday, December 8th, our Secondary students had the wonderful opportunity to represent their Houses in this year’s Athletics & Swimming Carnival. Throughout the morning, students participated enthusiastically in a range of events, Long Jump, High Jump, 400 meters, 100 meters, Tug of War, and multiple swimming competitions.

It was inspiring to see the field and pool full of vibrant House colors, with students cheering, competing, and showing genuine pride in representing their teams. The atmosphere was energetic, positive, and filled with school spirit.

The event concluded with the always-exciting 4×100m relay races on the track. After a series of strong performances across all activities, Elang emerged as the overall winner, demonstrating consistency, teamwork, and determination throughout the carnival. Congratulations to all Elang students!

Days like this offer our students a meaningful way to wrap up the semester, building skills, strengthening friendships, relieving stress, and enjoying healthy competition in a fun and supportive environment.

Thank you to all students and staff who contributed to making this event a success.

Saturday Sports Just Got Bigger! Volleyball Starts & Basketball Expands

Dear Global Jaya School Community,

Our Saturday Sports Program is bringing exciting new changes this season! We are pleased to introduce Volleyball as a new Saturday option, and our Basketball Program has now been expanded to run twice a week, with sessions on both Saturdays and Mondays.

Volleyball Sessions (New for Season 2!)

• Saturdays: 8:00 – 9:30 AM

• Open to: Year 5 to Year 12

• Coach: Pak Totok

• Fee: IDR 800,000

• Program runs January 12 to March 9

Basketball Sessions (Expanded Program)

• Saturdays: 10:00 – 11:30 AM and Mondays: 3:00 – 4:30 PM

• Open to: Year 5 to Year 9 (boys & girls)

• Coach: Pak Amrull

• Fee: IDR 1,100,000

• Program runs January 12 to March 9

Registration Details (For Both Volleyball & Basketball)

• Regular registration: Until January 5

• Late registration: January 6–11 (IDR 50,000 late fee applies)

• After January 11: No further registrations will be accepted
