Fun-tastic Heroes
Picnic Day
Our Kindergarten friends had an amazing time at our Fun-tastic Heroes Picnic Day! The whole celebration was filled with excitement, movement, and big smiles as children explored the idea that everyone has a special strength, just like a hero!
Throughout the day, the children ran, jumped, played games, and tried new activities using all parts of their bodies. Their strong legs helped them race across the field, their hands helped them catch and throw, and their bright eyes helped them focus and explore. Whether they were flying kites, painting, or dancing together, the children showed how their bodies help them do so many wonderful things.
Our little heroes came in fun outfits. Some dressed as superheroes, others showed their strengths through confidence, kindness, and teamwork. It was a beautiful reminder that being a hero is not just about a costume, but about using our abilities to help and care for others.
Parents also joined the fun! Families played games together, cheered for the children, and enjoyed delicious food from the picnic tables. The field was full of laughter and happy moments as everyone celebrated, played, and enjoyed the day as one big community.
Thank you to all the parents and families who joined us and made the day even more special. Your support, presence, and enthusiasm mean so much. We hope this strong collaboration and warm relationship between students, parents, and teachers will continue, so our children can keep experiencing joyful, meaningful, and memorable learning moments together.

Who We Are
Assembly Performance
Right after our joyful Picnic Day celebrations, the Kindergarten students continued the excitement with a special Kindergarten Assembly Performance. With the theme still connected to our picnic adventure, the children proudly showed what they have been learning in our Unit of Inquiry, Who We Are.
The performance began with the children singing “Dua Mata Saya”, a familiar and well-loved song that helped them express how different body parts help them see, move, play, and learn. Their bright voices and confident actions showed their understanding of how their bodies work and why each part is important, just like the way they used their bodies during Picnic Day activities.
To close the performance, the students danced to “Jump and Grow,” an energetic and joyful song written and composed by Pak Kia, our Global Jaya School music teacher. With big smiles, strong movements, and enthusiastic jumps, the children demonstrated coordination, rhythm, and confidence. Their happy dancing showed how music, movement, and learning can come together to create meaningful experiences.
The assembly was filled with proud smiles from students, warm cheers from parents, and a wonderful sense of community. It was a beautiful way to celebrate the children’s learning, growth, and creativity after a fun-filled day outdoors.
Thank you to all families for your support and excitement. Moments like these remind us how powerful our collaboration is in helping the children learn, shine, and grow.
