GJS ID was one of the most fun and memorable events I have ever experienced. We had the chance to know each other better, bond, talk to each other, and work as a team. This made GJS ID an interesting and fun journey, and we couldn't have won without each other. Each of us had a specific part, and we all executed it well. All of us were hard-working, and we tried our best to make the audience interested in our topic(s), booth, and activities.
Our topic was about the Semarang Traditional clothing and makeup. We used a mannequin to display the clothing and a face mannequin to display the traditional makeup. I believe that my group and I worked really hard to make sure everything went smoothly, which makes me even more proud of our group. Because of all the hard work we put into our GJS ID booths, I believe that we deserved to win. Even if we didn’t win, I am proud of my group because we poured our heart and soul into this project, and we believe that the most important thing was that we tried our best.

If I had to summarize GJS ID in 1 word it would be the word rollercoaster. GJS ID was a very exciting yet stressful experience. As a team, we worked together to overcome difficulties and worked together to get the best outcome we could make. As a team, we have collaboratively decided on researching traditional clothes for our given province which is Semarang. Although there were many difficulties we encountered such as not being able to find sources about traditional clothes from Semarang and not being able to manage finishing the product several days before the event, we also had times of fun, especially being able to work as a team. While creating our products and executing our research plan, we also learned about many different @saratopics that are out of our main topic. We learned to be able to communicate and sort out problems within our group throughout the process of GJS ID. On the day where GJS ID was held, we incorporated interactive activities with information we have learned about into our presentation. We were able to explain about the traditional clothes and answer questions given by the audience well. Since we were so determined to do our best on GJS ID, we were able to win 1st place out of all the secondary. Our efforts paid off and we were proud and happy to achieve our end goal.

GJS ID was a really exciting and fun journey for us. Our province was Central Java, Semarang. In my opinion, our province was an easy one to work with. We had so much fun working with each other for this project. It was an engaging and memorable experience. GJS ID was really enjoyable, but it also taught us so many things. We picked a topic that was agreeable to us all. Not gonna lie, there were a few bumps along the ride. Sometimes we didn’t agree on something, and sometimes we had trouble collaborating, but at the end of the day, we worked it all out and gave it our best shot. We helped each other in some situations, and that really paid off. I am so happy we won this year’s GJS ID. Even if we didn’t win, I would still be proud of our efforts and results.

GJS ID was a really fun experience for all of us. I really enjoyed doing GJS ID with my friends, and without them I wouldn’t have been able to do it. We were able to work collaboratively with each other, as well as knowing our own roles and responsibilities. Even though this part of Indonesia was not really popular, we believe that we got people to know more about the central side of Java. This shows how different people can work together really well. My group members and I didn’t know that it would turn out this well, but it did. We had our ups and downs throughout the journey, but we still managed to win first place and we believe that we deserve that win. But even if we didn’t win, we would still be just as happy as how we are now. In the end, you’ll realize that what really matters is that you and your friends had a fun time and you believe that you did your best.

GJS ID was a memorable, exciting, and joyful experience for us. It taught us many skills, such as collaboration skills, creative skills, and being a risk-taker. Over the past 2 months of working at GJS ID, my group and I have learned a lot together about how to work more collaboratively, and we also help each other when we are struggling. We all had our own challenges, such as struggling with research and struggling to make posters/mannequins/scrapbooks. Even though there were struggles, it was all such a fun time. We all had our own roles and meetups out of class to work on GJS ID. Our efforts eventually paid off during GJS ID when we won. Our booth consisted of 2 posters, kain, and pictures of canting. We also had an interactive activity, which was canting. Canting is the way of making a design on a batik/kebaya. Our topic was traditional clothes, and to make it more fun and interactive for our audience, we set up the canting that anyone could try. After we finished taking down our booth and finishing up the presentations, I felt incredibly proud of my group and I. We all worked hard on it, and at that moment it didn’t matter if we won or lost because we all put in our best effort and that is what mainly matters. GJS ID was an experience that was a unique and happy experience, especially doing it with my friends.
