MYP Updates

Dear Global Jaya School Community, 

We are thrilled to announce the first eAssessments on May 9th with the commencement of Mathematics. All product design students will also submit an ePortfolio. These assessments will be the starting point for eAssessments at Global Jaya School. This also authorizes us to use the IB MYP eAssessment logo displayed above. I encourage all parents to come to learn more about IB MYP eAssessments on March 18th at 8am in the MPR 3. Ibu Nia and Pak Irwan will answer questions about the Mathematics and Product Design. Also, please save the date for the Math eAssessment on May 9th. This is a non school day, but students will need to come to school for the exam at 11:30am. 

Personal Project Updates:

All year 10 students have completed their project and they have been standardized by the Global Jaya faculty. We will submit these to the IB to be scored. Results will arrive on August 1st. See the photos below of the Year 10 pool party to celebrate their success with personal project. We are all so proud of their work! 

Finally, Year 9 students will begin to explore their topics during term 4 when they begin their group project. A smaller group of year 9 students went to Binus led by Ibu Popy to view other student work.  All who attended felt inspired and ready to begin their project in August 2024!
