Procedural Writing in BI and English
Dear Global Jaya community members,
Year 4 has been engaging in various activities that include procedural writing in Bahasa Indonesia and English. The teachers have prepared many activities that the students participated in, such as creating a step-by-step video.
Year 4 was able to develop research skills, self-management skills and communication skills. We are delighted to share a few things we did to partake in this activity which includes making a poster and a canva. Students write procedural texts that provide readers with guidelines for living a healthy lifestyle.
Year 4 enjoyed taking part in the activity and has learned many new ways to utilise procedural writing.

Dear Global Jaya community members,
On Friday, February 23 2024. Year 4 had the opportunity to display their understanding of their UOI 4, Who We Are. Year 4 showed how art, meditation, music, team building, and exercise can work together with our human body systems.
Year 4’s had many booths about how we can help our stress such as,

Muscle Booth
Meditation Booth
Team Building Booth
Music Booth
On clinic day, students were able to have conversations with some students about the activities on how to release stress by helping our human body as they can affect our health and lifestyle.
Year 4’s were able to manage their research skills. They showed that they can research how the human body works, and how they help us do in life. They also showed how they were being thinkers by showing how they can think on how they can be responsible on their clinic day.
After the clinic day everybody enjoyed presenting their understanding with their booths.
