Lunar New Year Celebration
Global Jaya School, together with the Global Jaya Parent Association, arranged a festive Lunar New Year celebration on Tuesday, February 13th 2024. The festivities started early in the day at around 7:30, GJS community, as well as visitors, visited a Korean Calligraphy table, where you could get your name written in Korean hangeul along with a tassel so you could hang it somewhere you wish to.
Right next to it, there was a Korean Traditional Attire booth, where you could rent and wear it and take pictures with a classic Polaroid camera for free of charge and take home a Polaroid as a souvenir. Global Jaya Parent Association have chosen more than 10 thematic vendors for this special occasion, varying from F&B, fashion and toys.
There were Mr.Bungeoppang, Dapur Maemun, The Chilly Bin, Beauty 360, Bakpaonya Koko, Dapur Rakana, Humble Drink & Eatery, Manogi, Alice Judith, Biometric Assessment: Fingerprint Analysis, Seratus Kapas, Sweetooth, GirlPower, and Ibu Kukis. Performances of Barongsai or Lion Dance at Global Jaya School theatre were also enjoyed by many, and lots of hongbao or red envelopes were given to the Lions

Kajian Islam (Islamic Study Session)
On Friday, February 23rd 2024, Global Jaya Parent Association had organized its annual Islamic study session at Dance Room, 2nd floor Gym of Global Jaya School.
The Kajian Islam was led by Ustadz Afdholi Ali Rachmaninov, MA with a theme of MANISNYA IMAN PAHITNYA DOSA (The Sweetness of Faith, The Bitterness of Sin).
The one and half an hour study session went well and smoothly with many of our Global Jaya School community in attendance sharing and discussing about how one could strengthen their faith towards Allah the Almighty.

For the month of February, Global Jaya Parent Association had an online meeting on Wednesday, February 21st 2023 through Google-Meet. The meeting started approximately at 10:05 with a topic discussion about Global Jaya Annual Giveback dedicated to our Global Jaya School committed staffs and securities. Google form has been designed for parents from all year level to fill out and choose the options available. Please look forward to updated information about our very own Global Jaya Giveback in the upcoming days ahead.
