Awareness Campaign

Purpose

In this unit, we learned how to make an awareness campaign. The goal of the awareness campaign is to inspire everyone to stop the problem. We created awareness campaigns about animals and also pollution. The purpose of the campaigns are to save the animals and also the earth. I chose to write about water pollution.

The Process of Making My Awareness Campaign

1. I chose the problem and then I researched it.

2. I created a canva about it.

3. I added some details (like the negative effect of the pollution, how to stop it, donation link, and fun activities)

4. I added some photos too.

What We Learned

1. I learned about pollution and also endangered animals.

2. I learned about what awareness campaigns are.

3. I also learned about how to create a good and effective awareness campaign, so the audience will be interested and want to know more.

National Heroes Day

When it was National Heroes Day, November 10, 2021, I participated in the musical poem competition. There were more than one activities. Each activity is for each year level so there were lots.

I chose a musical poem competition. In this activity, I had to make/find a poem. Then, I had to find/make a song and arrange them into a musical poem. The poem is called “Pahlawanku”. And the song is called “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa ft Charlie Puth. I created the poem by myself. It was not easy because I had to make the poem and the song match each other.

The poem tells us about the struggle of Indonesian heroes and their sacrifices to get independence. What we have to do now is to continue their struggle by studying hard and doing our best in everything that we do.

MUSIKALISASI PUISI HARI PAHLAWAN

Aku sangat senang dapat berpartisipasi dalam musical poems competition dalam rangka memperingati Hari Pahlawan tahun ini. Makna pahlawan bagiku adalah sosok yang selalu ada setiap saat dan selalu membantuku tanpa pamrih. Aku sangat membanggakan arti seorang ibu dalam hidupku, sehingga aku merasa Ibuku adalah pahlawanku.

Kegiatan musical poems competition telah menjadi wadah bagiku untuk dapat menuangkan inspirasiku untuk menciptakan rangkaian kata-kata dengan alunan melodi yang syahdu. Aku menciptakan sebuah musical poem dengan judul Ibuku Pahlawanku. Aku menciptakan puisi ini selama dua hari dimulai dengan mencari nada-nada yang indah lewat piano. Lalu aku mulai menyenandungkan kata demi kata.

Kalimat yang aku ciptakan di puisi ini sebenarnya sangat panjang, tapi pada saat aku mencocokkan dengan melodi di piano banyak kata-kata yang aku hilangkan supaya semakin selaras dan tercipta harmonisasi yang sesuai. Di beberapa nada tinggi aku memberikan warna nada yang unik karena aku ingin memberi ciri khas pada lagu ini.

Aku sangat menikmati proses dalam pembuatan musical poem ini karena aku juga sering menciptakan beberapa lagu di waktu senggang. Aku juga suka sekali bermain piano dan biola. Jadi bagiku ini bukanlah suatu beban tapi sebaliknya ini adalah hal yang menyenangkan. Aku berharap akan semakin banyak kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat menjadi wadah bagi murid untuk mengaktualisasikan diri.

I was very happy to be able to participate in the Musical poems competition in order to celebrate Heroes day. The meaning of a hero to me is a person who is always there at all times and always helps me selflessly. I am very proud of my mother, so I feel that my mother is my hero.

The musical poems competition has become a place for me to be able to express my inspiration to create a series of words with a melodious strain. I created a musical poem with the title Ibuku Pahlawanku. I created this poem for 2 days by starting to look for beautiful notes using the piano, then I started humming them word for word.

The sentences that I created in this poem are actually very long, but when I matched the melody on the piano, I cut a lot of words to make them more harmonious and created the right harmonization. In some high notes I gave a unique tone color because I wanted to give a character to this song.

I really enjoyed the process of making this musical poem because I also often in my spare time compose songs and I really like playing the piano and violin, so for me it is not a burden, instead a big fun. I hope there will be more activities that can be a place for students to actualize themselves.
