Welcome back to school! The children started the term with so much joy and energy, quickly settling into routines and showing excitement for new learning experiences. In the early years, play is the most meaningful way for children to learn, which is why we emphasize play-based and creative activities that nurture curiosity, imagination, and confidence.
Through play, the children have been exploring numbers by counting, sorting, and comparing objects, discovering different types of food, observing nature, and practicing healthy habits. These experiences make learning fun and purposeful, while also helping them build important thinking and problem-solving skills. Creativity is also central to their growth.
With Ibu Primi in Art, the children designed and decorated masks, turning simple materials into imaginative creations they were proud to share. In music with Pak Kia, they sang songs, clapped rhythms, and moved to the beat, discovering how music helps them listen, express themselves, and connect with others.
All of these playful and creative moments are more than just enjoyable. They support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. By engaging in play, they learn how to share, take turns, cooperate with friends, and build resilience when trying new things. These experiences not only strengthen their knowledge and skills now but also provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We are excited to continue this journey and look forward to seeing all the wonderful things the children will explore and create in the weeks ahead!
