To celebrate Indonesia's independence day, Year 4 students did various exciting and educational activities. The activities included writing and reading Independence Day speeches by dressing up as the President of Indonesia, creating a poster with the theme of Unity in Diversity, reading a poem about independence, creating a comic to tell what freedom means to us, singing the national anthem, etc. All students actively participated in these activities and were able to present their work with good quality. Through these activities, students have demonstrated to be risk-takers and have also shown their creative thinking skills when doing their work.
“Although I can only celebrate our Independence Day at home due to the pandemic, this does not lessen my enthusiasm to participate in it! I can still follow the ceremony through online streaming while wearing all red and white attributes and saluting our national flag!”
