Be Healthy with Year 5
Year 5 held Unit 5 culminating activities, 'Who We Are' from 29 April to 3 May 2024 at lunchtime at Primary Plaza and Basketball Court. This activity aims to share knowledge and ideas for healthy oneself, which includes physical, mental, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual health.
All Year 5 students work in groups according to their health focus. They create various activities to support the health elements they want to achieve. Group members share responsibilities during the process, including bringing the necessary equipment.
The target of this activity is all Primary students. After visiting and trying various activities at the Be Healthy booth, friends will feel happy, comfortable, and enthusiastic about their daily activities.

On Friday, April 19, 2024, all members of Global Jaya School celebrated Kartini Day. Kartini Day is a national day commemorating the birth of Raden Ajeng Kartini on April 21, 1879. Kartini is one of
Indonesia's national hero and a pioneer in emancipating Indonesian women for equal rights in education and employment. The theme for this year is Women's Emancipation for a Sustainable Future.
Students can do many activities, as outlined in the Kartini Grid. And the most exciting activity is the fashion show. All students can become models, demonstrating traditional clothing, kebaya, and batik.
