KINDERGARTEN FAMILY DAY

During the last week of Term 3, Kindergarten hosted a special Family Day event at school. The students demonstrated their skills in cooperating with each other in the school theatre during the event. They also performed what they had learned about personal details like their full name, birthday, and address. Their teamwork skills were showcased through the "Ular Naga" game and a clap dance performance. To wrap up the event, the students invited their parents to a picnic on the field. Various activities were available for the families to enjoy together, including a family swap painting challenge, ball games, hula hoops, and more.

KARTINI DAY

Dressed in attire representing Indonesia's diverse cultures, the Kindergarten students eagerly celebrated Kartini Day on Friday 19 April 2024. Before their fashion show, they discussed the significance of Kartini Day and her remarkable contributions to Indonesia. Engaging in conversations about Kartini's advocacy for girls' rights and education in the past, they also practised singing "Ibu Kita Kartini."

During the fashion show, the Kindergarten students confidently showcased their traditional outfits. With smiles, they walked the red carpet, capturing everyone's attention as they posed for photographs. By participating in the fashion show, the students not only paid tribute to Ibu Kartini but also highlighted the joy of embracing different cultures and standing up for what is right. What a fantastic day!
