Dear Global Jaya Community,
It gives me great pleasure to use the MYP eAssessment logo. We are only one of 3 schools that give that eAssessment in Indonesia. These digital and engaging assessments made by the IB will prepare our students for the Diploma Programme and beyond. Our year 10 students recently submitted their ePortfolios for Design and the Arts along with their personal projects. These results will be released from the IB on August 1st. To learn more about eAssessments from the IB please visit this site here.
On May 5th and May 8th our year 10 students will sit their English Language and Literature, English Language Acquisition and Mathematics exams from the IB. From May 19-22, year 10 students will take part in final exams for their other classes. Students need to remember to bring wired headphones and have clear water bottles.
For the full schedule, see below. Please remember that on exam days, year 10 students will only come in for exams and then go home. For non exam days, it will be classes as normal. For questions, please contact Ibu Sue at sue@globaljaya.com
Year 9 students,
We are so proud of the critical and creative thinking demonstrated by the year 9 students as they begin their mini personal project. This will be exhibited to the Global Jaya Community on June 12th. The students are exhibiting their ATL social collaboration skills as they work in groups of 3 to 4 students to create a learning goal, product goal, poster, product, and process journal. We hope to see you there!

Service as action is an integral part of the MYP Programme. All students must submit their evidence and reflections in Managebac and then complete their face to face interviews with their SA Coordinators. It is a truly rewarding experience to listen to all the amazing accomplishments of our students and to hear their passion for their community. In order to go into the Diploma Programme in years 11 and 12, all MYP students must complete their service with the 7 learning outcomes. For more information, please click here for the GJS service site.
