Welding I

This is a year-long introductory course where students will become familiar with the knowledge, skills, and career opportunities in the welding trade. Emphasis is placed on safety, applications of arc welding, wire feed, gas fusion, gas cutting, grinding, and plasma cutting. There will be weekly labs to demonstrate learning and skill. This class is sure to provide students with lifelong valuable skills. Please read the full syllabus - there are safety measures that have to be followed as this is a course where accidents can happen while working in the shop. This class will meet alternating days during the week A/B. If time allows towards the end of the course, students will complete a project.
