Animal Science

This is a semester-long intermediate course that will introduce students to large animals. The class will focus around the species of beef and dairy cattle, swine, goats, sheep, poultry, and equine. Students will gain basic knowledge of these animals including anatomy, genetics, reproduction, nutrition, and caring for large animals. There will be multiple labs in this class.
