Three Components of Agricultural Education

Agriculture Education Mission:

Agriculture education prepares students for successful careers by obtaining real-life work skills and a lifetime of informed choices to be a successful citizen in the agriculture, food, fiber, and natural resource systems.

Through agricultural education, students are provided opportunities for leadership development, personal growth, and career success.

Agriculture Education is delivered through these three components:

Classroom/Laboratory Instruction (contextual learning)

Supervised Agriculture Experience Programs (work-based learning)

Student Leadership Organization (FFA)
