This is a semester-long introductory course that is split into two sections, the first quarter being focused on various areas of agriculture and the second quarter being focused on more hands-on learning involving the use of hand tools and power tools. Topics of instruction include leadership and FFA, careers in agriculture, advancements in agriculture, animal science, plant varieties, food science, wildlife, simple machines and basic woodworking skills. Topics discussed in this class will expand on topics discussed in Ag 7.
