Virtual Conference - March 5-7, 2021

On behalf of Phi Alpha Theta and the Pi Alpha Chapter at Georgia Southern,

we would like to offer our gratitude to all of the presenters and all of our attendees who made this conference possible. We had 43 presentations,125 registered attendees, and amazing audience turnout for every panel.

A special thanks to the chapter advisors and mentors from many different institutions who supported our student presenters. Thank you to the Georgia Southern faculty members who chaired the panels and gave commentary, and to the Georgia Southern Department of History for its support of the conference.

A big thanks to Dr. Laura Lovett, our keynote speaker, and to the inspiring Ms. Dorothy Pitman Hughes for her guest appearance. Thank you to our panelists on the profession, Ms. Anna Mcintyre, Ms Lilith Logan, Dr. Dominic Bray, and Ms. Roxane Milot, as well as to Noah Prince for hosting.

Last, but not least, a special thank you to all of the behind the scenes people, who helped make this conference the success that it was, including our Chapter's executive board members and the graduate students on the program committee, Dr. Julie de Chantal, Dr. Corinna Zeltsman, Prof. Melissa Gayan, Mr. John Colbert, and Dr. Kurt Knoerl.

We look forward to seeing you all at the 2022 Georgia Regional Conference!
