Meet the Touring Company


Akoni Steinmann, Touring Actor, is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College where he got his BFA in acting. He has performed in All’s Well That Ends Well and King Lear for Hip to Hip Theatre Company. Marymount credits include The Skin of Our Teeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, An Enemy of the People, and Tartuffe. At GeorgeStreet he performed in Anytown and New kid. Thanks to my family for suppor! Eileen Doan, Touring Actor, is an actor and musician from Kentucky. Theatre credits include: Cambodian Rock Band (Victory Gardens Theatre), Anytown; New Kid (George Street Playhouse), Stop Kiss (Studio Players), Hair (University of Kentucky), Starstruck (co-written and co-directed, University of Kentucky). Musician credits include 3 independently-produced EP’s, One Of You, Many The Miles, and A Matter Of Time.

Joe Piserchio, Touring Actor is from West Orange, NJ. Joe studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ where he received his bachelors degree in Musical Theatre. While at FDU, he was seen in various productions: Andrew Carnes (Oklahoma!), Officer Barrel (Urinetown: The Musica), Matt Evans (Reality), Dogberry (Much Ado About Nothing). Joe has been working with George Street Playhouse for the past two seasons where he was lucky enough to help develop Anytown and the roles of Joey/Doctor/Monster. He wants to thank the entire staff at GSP for being wonderful people and making GSP a great place to work!

Emma Wagner, Touring Actor is a graduate of Montclair State University's BFA Acting Program. Some of her school credits include Iphigenia in Aulis (Iphigenia), Misalliance(Hypatia), Michigan Murders (Karen Sue), and Tartuffe (Marianne). She recently worked as a Performer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida and appeared as a dancer in their Christmas Parade.


Christina Comizio, Touring Actor, is a resident of Wharton, New Jersey, and was so incredibly lucky to have made her professional debut as a member of the 2017-2018 George Street Playhouse Educational Touring Theatre. She was even luckier to have toured with George Street again in the final month of their 2019 season. It’s been the highlight of her career getting to tell these stories and interact with these audiences in such a special and intimate way. Very excited for her next endeavors, you can see Christina next in Music Jar Production’s They Call it Gravy, We Call it Sauce. Recent/Favorite credits include: THE WILD PARTY (Queenie), THE CLEAN HOUSE (Ana), NINE (Luisa Contini), LES MISÉRABLES (Éponine), and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Belle). In 2017 Christina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theater from Quinnipiac University and is a two-time New Jersey Governor’s Award winner, winning Best Actress and Best Dramatic Monologue. Allyson Schiller is a non-equity stage manager. Recent credits include Child Guardian for Christmas in Hell, York Theatre, PSM for Newsies, NewArts, Resident Stage Manager and Communications Manager at 2nd Story Theatre (Crimes of the Heart, The Tribute Artist, Talley’s Folly, Baby with the Bathwater, Dancing Lessons). Other previous credits include wardrobe for Opera Saratoga’s productions of Zemire et Azor, Falstaff, and The Cradle will Rock, and Stage Managing Wingspan Arts’ productions of Urinetown and Carrie the Musical. Allyson received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from the University of Rhode Island.

Erica Leigh is honored to be working again with George Street Playhouse. Past credits with the company include Touring Stage Manager of the Educational Touring Company (four seasons) and Production Manager of the Education Department's Summer Theatre Academy (four seasons). She was also the Production Stage Manager of NJPAC and GSP's national touring production of Magic Tree House: Showtime with Shakespeare. Additionally, she was an intern, ASM and Tour Manager at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.
